What is an eSIM and how does it differ from a regular SIM card?
An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM card. Instead of a physical card, you download the SIM profile straight onto your device via a QR code. Your current SIM stays exactly where it is — the eSIM works alongside it.
Which networks does Ariya's Turkey eSIM use?
Your eSIM connects automatically to Turkey's largest operators: Turkcell, Vodafone Türkiye and Türk Telekom. Turkcell is known for its strong coverage even outside the big cities, and all three offer 4G with a growing 5G rollout.
Does my phone work with an eSIM?

When should I install and activate the eSIM for Turkey?
Install: do this at home over wifi before you leave. Scan the QR code, follow the steps in your settings — done.
Activate: switch on data roaming for the eSIM line as soon as you land at Istanbul Airport (IST), Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) or Antalya Airport (AYT). That way your bundle starts at exactly the right moment.
Do I keep my Belgian or Dutch phone number?
Yes, absolutely. The Turkey eSIM is a separate data line alongside your existing SIM card. Your Belgian or Dutch number stays active for calls and messages as usual. Family reaches you as always, while you use the eSIM's data for WhatsApp, maps and internet.
Does the eSIM work well in resort towns like Antalya and Alanya?
Yes. Along the Turkish Riviera — Antalya, Alanya and the coastline in between — coverage from Turkcell and the other networks is generally very strong, even during the busy summer months. In remote mountain villages inland the signal can occasionally be weaker.
How long is my data bundle valid?
Validity depends on the plan you choose — day plans, week plans and month plans. The clock only starts once you switch on data roaming in Turkey, not at the moment of purchase. That way you don't waste any data during the flight.
Can I top up with extra data if my bundle is running low?
Yes. Through the Ariya Mobile app or the website you can buy a new bundle and activate it instantly at any time, even while you're in Turkey — as long as you still have a little data left or are briefly on wifi.
What if I have technical problems with my eSIM?
